Have found this great post editor to write and save posts then post them to a blog. Just trying it out with this post. I downloaded it free from Qumana.

Me me me

Found a site the other day that epitomises all that is wrong with blogging. Its all about me me me and no one thinks of anyone else but themselves.

Twisted Tunes

Saw a great site recommended over at Twisted Tunes which when I checked it out turned out to be a really different site on a range of music, theatre, shows, etc. The latest post was about a clown called Charlie Caroli, who i'd never heard of but sounds really interesting. So thanks to Twisted Tunes for letting me into the griff about the Music Man site. That's what so great about blogs, you suddenly find something when you are looking in a completely different place.

A really interesting site

Are they safe?

March 5, 2006 by bewholme

Before setting up this blog I explored one or two others to see what people used their blogs for. One I found is intended to recount a couple’s journey whilst they trek along the Appalachian Trail. Having read Bill Bryson’s book I know this is a pretty tough journey and not for the feint of heart.

But I am bothered about these people because since that  original post there have been no others. Oh yes there have been comments from people wishing them well, but how do we know they are well? Their silence could be a cause for concern.

On the other hand how did they intend keeping their blog up to date? Judging by the only post so far weight was an issue so I cannot imagine taking along a laptop or whatever would have figured high on their list of essentials. If this trail is so remote there is unlikely to be too many opportunities to ‘blog’.

I keep popping back now and again to have a look but still that solitary post.  Perhaps I should inform the authorities.
